We look at the make, model, age, mileage, what's wrong with it, and where the vehicle's likely to end up — parts, breaking, or onward transport to an ATF. Different cars land in different buckets. We'll tell you where yours fits and quote on that basis.
Are you a scrapyard?
No — we're a local scrap car buyer, not a traditional scrapyard or car breaker. The practical difference for you: instead of driving your car to a yard, we come to your door with a trailer and take it away. We're not an ATF ourselves; for genuinely end-of-life vehicles, we arrange onward transport to our partner ATF who issues your Certificate of Destruction.
Will you buy a car that won't start?
Yes. Non-runners are a significant part of what we buy. Collection is part of the offer.
MOT failed with a big bill — is it worth selling to you?
Likely yes. MOT failures with big-ticket repair bills are a standard enquiry for us. Tell us what the fail sheet said and we'll quote.
Do you provide a Certificate of Destruction?
We're not an Authorised Treatment Facility ourselves, so we don't issue CoDs directly. For cars genuinely at the end of their life, we arrange onward transport to our partner ATF who will issue your Certificate of Destruction. For cars that still have usable value, no CoD is needed — we notify the DVLA of the change of keeper in the normal way, which gives you the same legal protection.
When do I get paid?
Same day, by bank transfer, before we load the car onto the truck. You'll see the money arrive on your phone while we're still on your driveway.
